Projects:

  1. Scholarship - UMAAI was successful to financially aid selected indigents in their school fees. By far, it has produced 27 graduates, one among them ranked 3rd in the CPA Examination.

  2. Employment Facilitation Program - For more than seven (7) years now, UMAAI with the help of the University's Office of External Affairs was able to assist in the employment of numerous alumni. This is in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) through its public employment office. It's a huge advantage for jobless graduates for they can avail free job counseling, training and seminars and extended aid in packaging their application requirements. Pre-screenings are done and recommendations are made to certain companies and institutions who seek applicants. Since the time this Employment Facilitation Program began, about 1000 applicants tried out and around 600 were fortunate to have acquired jobs.

To date, there's an existing databank of assisted alumni as to continually assess the initiative's efficacy. Further, UMAAI conduct regular forum with the industries.

Future Plan:

UMAAI looks forward to establishing its building, to house its formal office. Having such will surely enhance its functionality in terms of serving its members.
